In ten weeks, 240,000 American Troops were deployed to the Persian Gulf. Joining them were 150,000 from many Allied nations. Dug-in and opposing them were 500,000 battle-hardened (but often poorly equipped with low morale) Iraqis in and around Kuwait. This is the complete story: troops, tank, helicopter and airplane deployment; naval and ground opps; and preparation for nuclear, biological and chemical warfare.
